Keep Your Dream Alive

Keep Your Dream

The day you decide to focus 100% on making your dream a reality willbe one of the hardest decisions you will make in your life.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses. As a result, the boy’s high school career was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up.

That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre dream ranch.

He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he received his paper back. On the front page was a large red F with a note that read, `See me after class.'

The boy with the dream went to see the teacher after class and asked, `Why did I receive an F?'

The teacher said, `This is an unrealistic dream for a young boy like you. You have no money. You come from an itinerant family. You have no resources. Owning a horse ranch requires a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for the original breeding stock and later you’ll have to pay large stud fees. There’s no way you could ever do it.’ Then the teacher added, `If you will rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, I will reconsider your grade.'

The boy went home and thought about it long and hard. He asked his father what he should do. His father said, `Look, son, you have to make up your own mind on this. However, I think it is a very important decision for you.’ Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no changes at all.

He stated, ‘You can keep the F and I’ll keep my dream.'

Monty Roberts, that young boy then, later became wealthy owner of a 200-acre horse ranch and a 4,000-square-foot house in the middle of in that ranch in San Ysidro.
Monty Roberts still have that school paper framed over the fireplace.

The best part of the story is that two summers ago that same schoolteacher brought 30 kids to camp out on Monty's ranch for a week. When the teacher was leaving, the teacher said, ‘Look, Monty, I can tell you this now. When I was your teacher, I was something of a dream stealer. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams. Fortunately you had enough gumption not to give up on yours.'

Lessons

The great mean and leaders you see today have felt this uncertainty in one form or another through their career — from Michael Jordan to Winston Churchill to Thomas Edison to Henry Ford to Abraham Lincoln to Tony Robbins -just to mention a few.

It is said that winners never quit and quitters never win.

The difference between those that persevere and those that quit, is that successful people are mentally prepared for what it takes to cross the success line. They believed. They fight for their dreams. What stopped others could not stop them. They see the obstacles as stepping stones.

In other words, they embrace the worst that will inevitably come their way and have the resiliency to continue, believing that the best is yet to come.

Anyone can make the decision to start. The winners are the ones bold enough to make the decision to continue.

If you must keep your dream alive remember these:

You have a lifetime to succeed. Whether you’re 20, 30, or 40 years old, you have a lifetime to succeed. Arianna Huffington started Huffington Post when she was 55 years old, and today it’s one of the most successful websites in the world. Anything is possible.

Time, years etc are just numbers. You don't grow old because you have lived a number of years in life, you grow old only when you lost your dream in life. You are as young as your dream.

You’ll always have more opportunities. Opportunity unlike what many believed, do not come once in a lifetime. Opportunities are every where glaring at us everyday. The time is anytime. If it didn't yield result, keep on and don't fold your hands hoping for luck to come your way. There is no luck. But I believe in "thorough preparation, planning, and utilizing any chance or opportunity one sees"

Be patient. Achieving long-term success takes time. A lot of people give up their dream due to impatient. Sadly, they give up at the ledge of success. Patient! The gold might just be a stone throw away. Keep moving! It’s as simple as that.

Stop selling yourself short. When the going gets tough, it’s natural to begin losing confidence in yourself. Know that we’re a lot stronger than we give ourselves credit for — mentally and physically. What our brains are predispositioned to make us believe versus the pain we can actually endure are two very different things.

Experiment, experiment, experiment. Look at failure as finding another way to succeed, not a dead-end. There’s an endless number of ways to find the solution to your struggles, your mission is to experiment these in the shortest amount of time possible until it click. Someone ways to success might not be yours, so you have to experiment, experiment and keep experimenting because our environs, dispensation and "making" is different.

Only compare yourself to yourself. The only person you should become better than everyday is yourself. No one else.

Embrace the lowest moments. Know that when things are at its worst, there will always be light at the end of that tunnel. The greatest inventions and success stories go through “a dip” before they achieve prosperity. The night is darkest just before the dawn. The gold are behind the lowest moments, don't give up!

Don’t let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no matter what.
However through GOD everything is possible, so clinch to the LORD that for him Dreams are REALITY.
IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS WAY.

Few that have failed a lot in life, at a point in time have decided to cooperate with God’s Graces and do His will and actually live to their fullest potential with the abilities He blessed me with.

Some when they were younger, let everybody and anybody sway them and discourage them from doing the right thing. Regrettably they realize now - after so many years later - that they have only themselves to blame for all those failures of theirs.

Never let anybody ever tell you that you can’t accomplish anything in life, because with GOD all things are possible.

It’s better to give a deaf ear to those who show you a 1000 reasons why you won’t achieve your dream. Tell them there is 1001th reason for it possibility.

Now onwards you have to believe in yourself not in what others think about you.

Dare To Dream !!!
When you find a dream inside your heart, don’t ever let it go because dreams are the seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow…

Dare To Dream!!!
Reach For Your Dreams!!!
