In the race of top scorers in 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League before the quarter final games Cristiano Ronaldo had only 2 goals while Lionel Messi had already score 11 goals.
All thought it was over. Many believed Messi has won the prize. 2 goals against 11 goals. How can any player meet that.
Well, let me hit the nail here.
Leading a race does not mean you will win it.
That's a Zambian proverb.
Cristiano Ronaldo's comeback truly reflects this proverb.

5 goals in quarterfinal games against Bayern Munich, 3 goals in semi-final games against Atletico Madrid and 2 goals in the final game againt Juventus.

In the race of life you don't rejoice prematurely, you don't underestimate anybody, and you don't pass final judgement on people.
