Stay Connected!

Let us not wait until our lives start showing signs of "low battery", let us always stay connected to the power source and stay fully charged. Yes, God is the source of our life. Stay Connected!

John 15:4 - 5, "Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can't bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can't produce a thing." (MSG)

Jesus declares to all of us today that He is the “Vine”, and we are the branches. Therefore we must stay connected to Him.

We are commanded, exhorted, warned not to go off on our own way in this life because we will not survive spiritually and as branches, we will not bare fruit.
Can a broken branch survive?
A broken branch eventually dies and dry rot. It has no life support and death of it is inevitable. The same with us as Christians, apart from God we die a spiritual death that separates us from Him now and in eternity.

Jesus is saying, “stay connected to Me always".

You are not to drop in for a visit every now and then. Abiding in means living there, staying connected to the source.
You are to:
Hunker down,
Dig your heals in and
Plan on staying for the long haul.
No turning back,
No looking back, but
Moving forward with God, regardless of the cost.

The reality is that God is with us wherever we go. He is the vine that the branch must stay connected.

You know every now and then the branches of a tree has to be pruned.
Also, God has to take out of us,
The things that does not look like Him.
The things that are stopping it from growing.
The things in our life that are hindering our spiritual maturity,
The things that are causing us not to be productive in that which God has commanded of us.
The things that are hindering the fruitage.

Stay connected to God!
Through prayer,
Through worship and praises,
Through the study of His Word,
By living in the Word,
By living in this world and not of the world and it’s standards for life and living.
By using God’s Word as our stand for Christian living.

God is our power source and apart from the power, there is no light and we walk blindly in darkness. It is critical that we stay connected.

How do we stay connected to God?

To bear fruit, we must be connected to the vine. To continue to produce fruit, you and I must stay connected to Jesus, for He declares to us today that “apart from Me you can do nothing!"

Allow God to be God in our lives and “stay connected to Him”. Remember, He just told us that “apart from Him we can do nothing”.

My plea and my prayer for all of us today is that we be not moved nor swayed by what we see nor hear, but that we are moved by faith and trust in God, knowing that He is God and He will do just what he says He will do.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for giving us a mind to stay connected to Him for scripture declares in Acts 17:28a-For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.

Stay Connected To God Who Is Your Power Source!

Good Morning, God's delight!
