The possibility of Greatness is determine by parental responsibility.
The Bible said, "train up a child in the way of he should go that when he grows up, he will not depart from it."
If the children know the way, why will God desire parents to train. The children should have train their selves. Right? But, we are instructed to guide, train and mentor this children because they know nothing.
Granted, if parent don't, these little ones will learn the hard way with all the high level of wickedness in this world. In such case, only a few survive without a scar or dent. Also, a journey that would have been swimmingly and successful at the right time, ends up becoming hard and "delayed". A journey or destiny that would have taken 7 years, ends up manifesting (by God's Grace) in 10 years or more. What a delay... because the child was not handle rightly. What else do you expect?
Someone said, "It wonders me, when parents say,'my child don't like this and that!' Who is the father/mother? And, who is the child? What do children know?"
What do that child knows? What do they know bout life? How valid can be their judgement about life issues? They are little souls with young, virgin and open hearts requiring a golden ink and inscriptions that will inspire the God's given gifts that are hidden beneath the heart.
Please parents, our offsprings are our responsibilities. What they will become in life is directly proportional to the kind of effort we put in today.
Remember, all children are born equal. At birth, even the child of a king is equal to the child of a poor man. They came in with nothing but potentials. The only different between that prince/princesses or fulfilled man/woman is the WAY THEY WERE HANDLED after they were born.
Let me shock you a little, this children blood will be required from you as a parent on the last day.
A father and mother is judged by their products - children. If you are fulfilled, we shall know in your children.
We complain a lot about pastors not feeding their flocks,
We complain a lot about the government, the society, the systems in our nation's lately...
but are we feeding our children rightly and "aright"?
How can we have:
Responsibility when the first mentors are not responsible
Honesty when the first mentors are not honest
Purity when the first mentors are not pure
Sincerity when the first mentors are not sincere
Loving when the first mentors are not loving, etc.
Can't go on again. You can complete the rest.
Train a child rightly and reap a right nation.
