Your PERCEPTION
The size of every man is his perception about life and things that make up life, and the weight of every man is measured by his thought.
Life is the way you see it and understand it.
If you understood to life to be hard, it's gonna be hard. If you understood life to be soft, it will be soft. As a man thinketh in his heart so he is. In books of Numbers, some people said they saw giants but few said they saw little men. They saw the same things but different understanding of what they saw.
What people see as obstacles, to others, it is opportunities.
The clearer you see the quicker God perform. Jeremiah 1:11-12.
Everybody is facing recession in this country, but unlike you, they are not seeing it as you are seeing it. People maybe going through the same thing you are facing but they are not seeing it as you are seeing it. To you it may be giant and impossible task, but to others, it is just a stepping stones to greater heights.
It is not about what you have seen, but what you understood of the things you have seen. How do you view situations around you?
Your perception about life determines success. Have you ever wonder, a job you say it's difficult, you went out and found somebody doing it? Or, a lady you think it's impossible to approach, later you see her getting married with a man - whose status is even lower than you? Limitation is nowhere else but the mind.
Success in life is not determine by the things around but how you handle, process, manipulate the resources around you.
The limitation of man is in his mind.
Most people are expectant but low thinking that can absorb the expectation, so the manifestation of their expectations will be delayed.
Perception and thinking is not a gift of the Spirit but a gift to be acquire. It is your responsibility to acquire and renew skill to upgrade your mind. Many Christians are failing here. Remember Lazarus, he died as a beggar though he was born-again and went to heaven. Becoming a Christian will not erode your mind-level or your illiteracy, until you acquire skill to upgrade your mind.
You can not be bigger than what you can think. Proverbs 23:6-8. You are what you think.
Someone is thinking of cost, somebody else is thinking of benefits.
Someone is thinking of impossibilities, someone else is seeing possibilities.
Someone is thinking about giants but somebody out there is seeing stepping stones.
Someone is seeing problems, but somebody out there is seeing miracles. (if there are no problems there will not be miracles) We love miracles and testimonies but problem is first before miracles. Why do you need blessings if you are filled. So when problems come, blessings are next.
Who are you looking at? The challenges or God and opportunities?
Your perception is supposed to determine your thinking which would directly control your action, and your actions determines your destiny.
How to know your perception, it will show by your words and your actions.
The cheapest way to know a man is through his words and actions.
The Person may pretend for a short time but soon his heart will be revealed, that is, right or wrong perception will show.
If you know you don't want to be like some people, don't walk with them.
If you load your perception will bad news, you will start to believe that bad news will happen to you.
If you load your mind set with negativity, you will start thinking it will also happen to you. And, having such, produce same results.
What you build in your mind, is either your fall/stronghold/giant/wall/barriers, or your stepping-stones/propellers/wings/bounce.
Mind what you listen to.
Be mindful of who you listen to.
Be mindful of what read.
Whatever you don't want in your spirit and life, don't allow your eyes to see it.
What you don't want in your spirit, don't allow your ears to hear them.
What you don't want in your life don't allow your nose and tongue to perceive them.
You know why, because in the process of time, it subconsciously becomes you. And, you begin to act like that, say like that, feel like that, and live like that.
If you are very concern with crime news, you will end up in fear because you will think they will happen soon to you.
Not all things are allowed in your spirit, subconsciousness, and minds. If you are not careful, it will become the devils and demons sitting on your destiny.
Beware and Be aware!
