The mind no longer controls the heart, and you no longer think before you speak or act. The body becomes "lively lifeless." *But in the absence of the conscious while one is asleep, the subconscious emerges.* The Soul's essential powers are in fact strengthened and more apparent. The body may be weak, yet, for the soul, it is a time of rejuvenation.
